ASTC Exam 2020 for Mechanics Post Postponed due to Coronavirus

Assam State Transport Corporation (ASTC) has postponed the Written Examination (OMR based) of the posts of Mechanic (MMV/ Electrician/ Welder and Fitter) to prevent any possible outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID 19) . A notification has been released in this regard.

1. Electrician (Auto) - 20 posts
2. Welder - 12 posts
3. Mechanics (Motor Vehicle/ Diesel) - 30 posts
4. Fitter - 10 posts
Date of Written Test: 22/03/2020 (Sunday)
Examination Time:11:00 AM to 1:00 PM

In view of the present situation of the State and as per precautionary measures taken by the Government of Assam vide Notification No. PMA.234/2018/Pt/46-A dated 15th March, 2020 to prevent Coronavirus (COVID 19), the proposed written examination for selection of Mechanics (MMV/Electrician/Welder and Fitter) which was scheduled to be held on 22nd March, 2020 at Pragjyotish College, Guwahati is hereby postponed.
